Originating out of the cradle of Africa some 70,000 years ago CELEBRATION has been carried throughout the world by our ancestors as deeply etched in our DNA as any genetic marker could ever be.

This greatest of commonalities that for millenniums has served to protect, preserve and nourish our cultures, our heritages and our histories also provided an outlet for sharing our dreams, our beliefs, our accomplishments and our visions.

Where other entities often widen the distance between peoples, celebration served as a calling card lowering defenses, inviting inclusion and providing a common language that could be easily understood. Over time these celebrations became the roots of our identities, our personal brands and images, creative seeds of these global celebrations were carried by migrating tribes and travelers along their journeys, taking hold in new locations, adding new components, changing others and evolving into their own legacies.

As time and technology moved forward these creative seeds were carried further and faster than ever before, resulting in increased awareness, creativity and professionalism on a global scale. Where time and distance once separated us, as our world began to grow smaller, WE began a voyage of rediscovery and remembering, finding others like ourselves, who's dreams, visions and challenges were similar to our own, in the next town over and on the other side of the globe.

Recognizing the opportunity that lay before them the leaders of our time courageously started a dialogue that we have been invited to build upon today. A dialogue with visionaries around the world who have taken the power of festival, events and celebrations to new levels and touched virtually every corner of our planet, who have created MAGIC and HOPE and JOY and WONDER, who have woven a tapestry of human experiences for us all to enjoy. NOW it is our time, through the universal process of evolution we have inherited the leadership of a movement who's power may be greater than any other, the power of our species.
